“Maybe you don’t have to hold the world on your shoulders, maybe it can hold you”
Embarking on my photography journey in middle school, I had no inkling of the profound love that awaited me. It was during those formative years that the magic of capturing moments through a lens began to unfold. The initial fascination quickly evolved into a deep-seated passion, setting me on a path that would shape my future.
My high school years were a pivotal phase in nurturing my photography skills. Enrolling in TV and film classes, I gained invaluable experience in visual storytelling. This educational adventure not only honed my technical prowess but also allowed me to unleash my creativity. To my delight, I found myself among the nominees for numerous film awards. One memorable triumph was our victory, my fellow group members and I, for our compelling littering public service announcement.
My immersion in the yearbook program at my high school further expanded my photographic horizons. Here, I was introduced to diverse photography mediums, including sports and events. These experiences taught me to embrace versatility, adapt to different scenarios, and seize fleeting moments. It was a period of discovery and growth that laid a strong foundation for my future endeavors.
Now, as a photography major at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, I am embarking on the next chapter of my photographic odyssey. My ambition is to not only continue but also elevate my photography platform. Every photoshoot I undertake is infused with the commitment to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. I believe that when subjects feel relaxed and engaged, the resulting images exude authenticity and vibrancy.
Through this joyful and professional journey, I aspire to capture the essence of memories, emotions, and stories, one frame at a time. Photography is my medium of expression, and I am eager to share my perspective with the world. Together, we will create memories that will last a lifetime:)
